NEED HELP! 1980 110 just bought carb is clean 15 pulls to get it started any ideas

Just bought another 110 i put a carb kit in it,new air filter took tank in had inside jell coated so it can never rust new hoses and spark plug.Takes 15 pulls to get it started then it idles like crap tried setting air/mixture screw many times still rough idle and wont fire right away has good compression any help would be great at a dead end road with this one

Thanks rdlsz2 i just checked them again seem to be clean not black or pitted is there something i should be looking for different, also forgot to mention pipe is broke all away thru other side of heat sheild no pressure comeing out pipe all comeing out crack in muffle does it need so much back pressure to run right even tho this shouldnt affect starting.Im ready to pay just to get this thing to start on couple pulls out of 4 that i have this one is a headache.
