So I decided to not go to Glamis this weekend, kind of bummed but i figured I could use the time to diagnose some problems. Someone said that my increasing RPM at idle could be from unmetered air and I've realized that although I have the LT250r Suzuki engine in the Tecate I'm fairly sure they left the Tecate carburetor on it, possibly a slightly different fit? I'll figure it out this weekend though. I was also going to check into a carb kit because the bike has a K&N on it and I have no idea if the previous owner bumped up the jets or not, how would I measure the old jets and what should I be running in there? Thanks for any feedback!
