Bent valve?

What are the signs that you have a bent valve? How does the trike act?

Wont run and it will prob back fire if you try to start it . Very little if any compression .

Well I must be headed in the wrong direction then. LOL!! It is hard to start, but when it does start it will idle all day long, but as soon as you give it gas it stalls. If you push the gas really slow it will rev up. It has 125psi of compression. I have had the carb off three times and completely went through it. I have also taken the carb off of a good running one that I have here and it has made no difference at all.

what model / type atc are you referring to.

It is a Suzuki ALT185, I have also made sure that the timing was dead on. I have also put a new fuel pump (tank is under the seat) on it that I have here and it didn't change a thing. I am just about out of options and at a total loss, and I'm not one to throw the towel in.

I'm not familiar with the Suzuki 185 and if its not a carb issue it might be the timing advancer which if its not a mechanical advancer it would be part of the electronics .
