Your clutch is slipping. It's time for new fiber plates and maybe new springs.

Had the same problem with my 83x. Only third gear though. Turned out my third gear in the tranny was chipped really bad causing slippage. Felt like a clutch problem at first, but it only did it in third. Changed the oil and found all kindsa shavins. Third gear shavins.

clutches slip in all gears when going bad.most likely you have worn gears and bushings in the tranny.
