$300....its gonna need a lot of stuff and parts are very rare...I do know this because of the 86 being a five speed you can put an 85 swingarm on it if need be with all the bearing carrier and brakes axle and stuff....I had a plus four swingarm and plus six durablue layin round so I put that all on my 86...handles great...as far as engine work I would just get ahold of corey sprock and have him do it...everything bigbore is the name on ebay for his outfit...cycle works did an excellent job rebuilding my rear shock...thats all I can tell ya...dont lose any parts you wont find another...
nice find!!!
How many tecates do you have? i see 2 frames ready for assembling
well - i went in for $600 on the roller posted above. little expensive i might say. but in the end it did bring me an aftermarket pipe and nice right side rad shroud.
i believe i can build up two 86 tecates - quite nicely with some goodies NOS and aftermarket parts. the above was acquired to help complete the parts required and help as a comparison as the two are completely disassembled.
here is the other roller that was acquired for $150 a few years back. its one of the powdercoated frames in the pic you see above.
