    250SX suspension upgrade?

I installed a temporary '85 swinger on my '87 SX until more funds become available for the correct swing arm. As I was installing it, I noticed the original rear shock(second pic from left) was kind of worn out. I had a spare 350 shock lying around, so I figured what the heck... I know more needs done to make it "right", but I have limited tools. It feels pretty nice! I also made my own SX/BR swing arm removal tools... worked perfectly!

Hey that's really cool! You oughta get a set of 350X forks & put 'em on, I know a couple guys here did that, but nobody's done this! Real cool, real cool. How much have you ridden it w/ the 350X shock?

Just around the yard... I need to soften it up a bit and it will be much nicer. I had a 350x front end, but I gave it to atctim for his next conversion. I like the fat tire up front anyway... plus I already have a 350x
I had to machine(angle grinder) some off the sides of the 350x mount, and I need to cut off the part that's hanging down... would be nice to have 2 mounting points, maybe one of the gurus around here would have a better idea of how to make this more sturdy.
