I was haveing same problem on my 200m bought a new carb off ebay for 34.00 and now it runs and idles perfect.who cares what it is as long as it works.

I bought one for a 70 for 20 or so bucks but it was bigger and wouldn't run good. Maybe with exhaust and a cam it would have worked. Also the manifold bolts were further apart. But I've wasted 20 bucks on MUCH worse things so I'm not mad and I can steal parts off of it!

That's what I was thinking when I bought this. If all else failed I would rob parts off it to rebuild my oem carb. But it works so well I am just going to stick with it.

i bought a new carb for my 87 200x off ebay for 36 bucks and it runs better than it did before but i had to make adjustments to where the throttle cable went in cuase the carb is a lil diff.

I just bought a carb kit for my 86 200x from Dennis Kirk and the parts in the rebuild kit were a little different from stock. It ran worse with the new kit, so i just switched back to the stock stuff after cleaning them. Chinese crap!

My 200M does that sometimes too. It will idle so high to the point you have to ease into the first gear, and yet you take it for a ride a stop to let it idle and it will shut off. is this carburetor fits the 1984 200s? , because i been having a lot of problems with mine, i try to clean it with air and with a wire clean the air holes, and now i can't get it to start.

hello i need torque specs for my 200x engine head and was wondering if you new them or new where i could look them up and also setting up my timing chain. i understand the dots on gear but not the arrows on the cam where should they point

I rode with one of these for about a year. It was a bit rich for some reason and was hard to start. I wound up getting a rebuild kit for the stock carb and it likes that one a bit better.
