Working on a 1980 ATC110. Already did the carburetor. Good to go there. Running a little dodgy. I'm checking the points and they look totally unlike any points I have ever seen before. They really don't look burnt, but they have "crosses" in them. They have a "male" raised cross shape on the one side and the mating "female" depression cross on the other side. I've only seen flat points in my lifetime. They almost look like they were made like that. I guess that's my question. Are they supposed to be like that or are they toast? And if they are toast, what in the world causes this "cross" type of deformation? Here's a picture. Thanks for any input.:
