Don't worry about the discoloration. That doesn't mean too much. The thing you want to look for is up and down play in the rod. Side to side play should be minimal but there should be a least a little. If there's not up and down play on the crank pin then you're probably fine.

The deep cut in the closest crank wheel looks kinda odd. Can you get another angle of a picture?

I saw the colour the opposite way, blue on the bottom, when I spun a bearing on a Dodge.

check with the manual on here to give clearances, if either left or right or up down clearance is out replace it or rebuild it do not take the chance by any means, I threw a rod on my two stroke stand up jet ski 30 minutes after I bought it thankfully it did not crack the cases, it is far cheaper to replace or rebuild the crank than to wait for one to fail trust me I am speaking from experience.

its fine, all that i see look that way. Its play up and down you need to be worried about. Knocking on a 200x is normally the cam chain slapping. You should replace the chain and slides while you have it apart.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

^^^Yes the discoloration is normal. The shims usually come apart with the connecting rod bearing first. I agree with erics350x. My x also slapped the cam chain when i first got it. If the play on the crank is in tolerance don't mess with it, but definitely new slides and cam chain since you balls deep in it!
