ATC 250r Pipe Idenity?

It is indeed a show of craftsmanship! I will put it on my bike to see how it does. If I don't like it i will hang it on my wall or something just for the nostalga.

Its a Jemco I have the exact same one on my 250R! They all have the same double flange on the head pipe. Only difference on mine is the stinger doesnt have the slip joint. Its just a straight pipe and the silencer slips over the end on mine. They look super trick if you use a red emery cloth wheel and buff them down to bare metal. Hand wet sand the whole thing and if you like heat up all the welds with a gas torch. It will look just like a works pipe.

Tony interested to hear how the pipe performs on your bike. I have seen alot of people say that is a jemco pipe, and I do agree it lots alot like the pic of the jemco you posted. I tell you what I would do. Since Jon Easton still personally answers emails and builds custom pipes just like he did in the 80's, it will be very easy to determine whether it's a jemco or not. I would just send him either a link to the thread, or attach a couple of those pics I'm sure he can tell you whether he made it or not. XR132, The low profile fenders were on the bike when i bought it.

Jemco also used to make all the pipes for CRF (crotch rocket factoy) back in the day. The only difference was the had CRF stamped in the expansion chamber. Just alittle FYI

Installed the pipe today. The bottom end is about the same but the mid and top is better. Will have to tune it when I get the time. Did not get to run it much today. I took your advice Willie and emailed Jemco. No responce yet, but we will see. Thanks to all
