    1985 Honda 200x Question

Anyone know where theres a good place to buy a rebuilt motor or someplace that will rebuild it for not an insane amount? Also when im riding sometimes I stall out and try to start back up again and it'll take like 10 kicks with me giving it gas at the same time? Much appreciated guys, Semper Fi

a engine off of ebay i would imagine would be your best place to look when it comes to money. having someone do it for you will be alot of money unless you have a friend or something do it.
the problem with buying one is you cant know if its in good shape till you go inside the engine and take a look for yourself. I know theres some guys on here who have put brand new Lifan engines in their 200Xs. that seems to be a solid route to go.
If it were mine I would build the engine myself, its the cheepest and that way i know everything is new.

Go to Ebay and find Volcom37 ( frank ) and see if he has a nice 200x motor for you. He or his brother will hook you up !

Doesn't sound like its your engine, just by what you described. The first day I bought mine that's how it was. Put a new spark plug, spark plug boot, cleaned and oiled the air filter, adjusted the valves and the carb, some clean oil, and an exhaust gasket now it'll fire on the first or second kick.
