Will a Yamaha Tri Mo YT175 head/piston/cylinder bolt on a YT125 with no modification?

I have a 125 that runs good, but it needs the top end refreshed.
    I may convert it to a 175.
Is it a simple swap, or is there machine work needed?
    Any info/tuning advise would help.
    Thank you

You need the 175 pipe to use the 175 topend but otherwise it will swap the cylinder, head, and piston, no problem.
And that's the rest of the story. ~ Paul Harvey

The yt175 uses a larger fuel tank. The yt175 uses a vaccuum operated fuel pump. You may want to pick those up as well.
