    350x Head and cylinder, do I need it?

    How to I determine why I am getting so much oil smoke out of the exhaust? The previous owner ner fooled with setting the valves and timing but wasnt sure what he was doing. Could he have messed something up or do you think it is the valves or rings.

    If it needs rings I may as well do a new cylinder, right? What does it run to get it bored and get the head cleaned/fixed? (valves/seats)

    No keep the old jug and give it a good hone and a new set of rings. As for the head just re-lap them.
