    350x pulling right

Hey there, Im brian sold my atc 250r last month and was jonesing so I picked up a 350x, digging the torque and my first impression is i'm gonna like it better.

It does have a slight pull to the right when on paved surface, In dirt it fells better if not fine. Probally just feelin it less in the grass but it does have a new directional front tire could this be acting weird on the pavement? or do these things feel kinda squirlley on the road?

thanks, i was thinking about checkin the fork air pressure but reading a couple of threads got me scared of doinkin with that.

my first guess would also be that your rear tires aren't at the same PSI when your on tar a slight difference in pressure can make a huge difference in handling. I love riding wheelies ans whem I'm on tar the tires have to be dialed in exactlly the same or you will get some pull! If that's not it, maybe your forks are tweaked just a tad?

You guys beat me to it. Air pressure in both tires should be equal.

    Thanks for the replies

topped the pressure off to match and still have the issue.

it seems to do it under throttle and not under front braking. is there a way the left tire would get more power? seems the left tire is slightly more worn as well.

    thanks

Check the circumfrence of each tire. The circumfrence of each tire should be the same.

Yea if both tires don't have the dame circumference, it will pull.

Check for side to side play in the swingarm bolt too.

no side to side play and the tires are the same size. Any tips on aligning the rear axle?

Check your rear axle alignment and make sure it is true.

I don't think there is any adjustment for that.

What happens when you do a wheelie on pavement?

Is the pavement flat? Alot of roads around hare have a rather large crown that will make mine pull and feel this same way.

Theres no way to adjust the alignment?

Could be a crown in the road but the left tire is a little more worn than the right, it wheelies fine but it does feel a little awkward. Im gonna go try it in dirt.

must be something to do with how the front tire is reacting to the pavement, feels fine in the dirt. Hauls Im a 4stroke fan...

If you wheelie straight on pavement, most likely the problem is in the front.
However, having the rear tires being different, I would swap those for an even set first, and see how it is.
Maybe the last owner only did right hand donuts, lol.
