I have a big dent to remove from my 73 ATC 70 gas tank.It is from the fork hitting it.What is the best method for removing.Was thinking of heating it and apply air.
If you plan on painting it a body shop could use a stud gun to pull it out, I don't know what you would use to seal the gas cap hole tight enough to hold the air pressure that would require, by the way is there a good way to patch holes in a tank?
dry ice in a towel if the dent is not creased or too big but be careful you ca burn the paint if you hold it on there too long

Take it to a Paintless Dent Removal guy... might charge you 10-20 bucks...

This is a good sized dent from the fork hitting it.
I also have a dent in my big red tank. When it was a farm machine, a cow got mad one day and kicked the trike right over my uncle
