im going to pick up a tri-z 250 tomrow for $500 the guy said it runs but it will starve itself out of fuel due to the fuel pump being out ??? he said its a $20 part off of ebay..... any ideas if this is b/s or not???

Yamaha still offers the part new, they use them on golf carts still. Its just a diaphram rebuild kit, I bet one of yours has a rip or pin hole when you pull it apart.

got the tri-z it runs great till you try to drive fast.... i got a aftermarket fuel pump thats sposed to work for it off ebay and it still bogs out in higher gears or if i try to launch it on a take off for drag racing.....was practicing my launch and it would bog ass soon as it would shoot out of the hole any other ideas the fuel pump is clean and hasd no holes in diaphram..... so idk what to do
