350X more sought after than 250R in my area

I always thought the 250r was the most popular mx trike to ride, or maybe that's just me. But it became very clear when selling one of my trikes that most people in my area are looking for 350x's.

I needed to sell one to make room for another, so I put both on the classifieds and decided to part with whichever one sold first (and I would keep the other).

Granted, it's an 84 250R - but you need a REAL keen eye to know that just by looking at the thumbnail. I posted it to several cities in the surrounding area, and in a lot of cases the number of views for the 350x were double that of the 250r.

Check out the number of hits for each ad in the different cities... the 350x sold, so I'll be keeping the 250r.

I just recently sold my 86 X. It was ok i guess for slower riding, I just personally dont like them nearly as much as my R's I found the X to be sluggish and slightly top heavy compared to my beloved R's. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I'm glad you didn't - I'm happy my 350X sold and not the 250R... I'm one of those guys that prefer the 2 stroke trikes I guess!

I rode my boy's 350X for a couple hours today. Mostly gravel/sand pits and tight trails.

I really like the X, but if I had to choose one or the other to keep around.......there's no way I'd take the 350X over my 250R. Faster, lighter, more suspension, better suspension, quicker/more nimble handling.
