    Anyone ever try this?

I never had a stock silencer on my 350x but I think I'm gonna need one for the place I ride. Will a silencer from a 200x fit? Or does anyone want to trade a nice Cobra slip one for a stock one?

don't recommend it. Oem silencer is all ready restrictive, and 200x silencer is one of the worst examples.

where are you riding, if its the need of a spark arrestor you can just buy a slip on cobra "sparky" spark arrestor to slip over your cobra silencer. if its for sound reasons then yeah find the stock pipe

400ex head pipe and you have endless choices when it comes to the cans. stock 400 can makes almost no noise.

but because your machine is old you have a tollerance to like 98db, at least at silver lake sand dunes that is. my dads 1982 yz490 would be grandfatherd in so it can be as loud as he wants if we ever took it there. because of it age. they do this because older stuff didnt have to meet certian recuirments. so even stock may be over (it wont but thats why the rule is there) so check that out. my 1987 warrior was aloud to be 98DB. do some research

where are u riding?, we are both in michigan.

The website at Bundy say 94 db but is doesnt specify anything about age of the vehicle.
