    Can I make these pipes work on my R?

    I have a 1982 250R, soon to have a 1982 CR480 engine in it.

    I found 2 FMF pipes, one the guys thinks its from a YZ125 (he is not sure) the other is from an 86 250R. Will a liquid R's pipe work on an air cooled R?

    I am still not sure about how any pipe will fit on the 480 engine, will have to look into that but need a kit from bigbore and a top end from ATCeric.

    I can tell you for sure the 3rd-gen 250R pipe will not work on your R. I don't know what these guys are running for pipes on their 480R's, but on the Tecate 500's you have to either have one made or modify a KX 500 pipe.
