    They didn't from the factory but they had a hondaline upgrade kit you could buy from the honda shop to make a 250r into a 300r.

    WHAT CAN I SAY, I LOVE MY 85 BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOUGHT IT FOR 475 DOLLARS, PUT 50 DOLLARS INTO IT IE: RIVETS FOR THE FENDERS, J.B. WELD FOR THE GAS TANK, HEADLIGHT BULB, OIL CHANGE, SPARK PLUG AND RED SPRAY PAINT FOR THE FENDER SUPPORT.

    Here are some pics of mine of what I've done in the last couple weeks pretty much wvery thing besides all the original plast is new, billet,rebuilt or chromed. Motor is getting a new crank and a ESR 310pv paid $1500 for machine about a year ago and have around $5500 in receipts sofar and need to pay for the OEM crank and clutch upgrade along with checking over the tranny yet.
