Just got a 78 Yamaha XT500 and its a pos. Anyone work on these?
I gotta unstick the motor and do wiring, also has the oil frame.
Any good tips on cleaning/ derusting the frame (oil tubes?) the lines look good, but the area in the frame has been open for some time.
It was in a ditch, then sold to an auction, then I got it for $25. Its been sitting for many years at my friend's farm.
Any tips would be appreciated.
