I took the Keihin carb apart from my 84 200x and I see a small plastic bell shaped piece that looks like a baffle over the main jet. Is that what it is? I'm thinking its for off road carbs to prevent fuel slosh.
It seems to just slide over the main jet's pedastal and be lightly retained by its grip, and not slide down further because of the float bowl.
A parts diagram calls it "holder, jet". Huh?
Curious what this part is, and if there's anything special about putting it back on. It will likely slide down until it is stopped by the float bowl. Is that correct?
