How many blue atc 70's produced in '83?

Does anyone have any production numbers on the Christmas Special 70's? I have searched just about every whrere for this info I can think of, even sales people who sold atc's back in the 80's. Thanks, Karl

The way I always heard it, was there was one for every dealer, but I don't know if that was for US only. Of course there were replacement blue parts, but not sure how many of those were made.

I heard every dealer in the U.S. got one. They were given away as a raffle around Christmas. I would guess about 1500 were given away. Honda did make replacement parts for them as late as 85 I think. I know I have seen NOS blue front fenders in the 85 70 style. A friend of mine had a tank a few years back still in the box.
They do pop up here and there on ebay and here. The parts do become harder to find though.

I think oldtime is correct. I won one of those Blue 70's in Pennsylvania when I was 12! I remember the call coming on Christmas Eve 1982 and I answered the phone and thought it was a joke! My parents had just bought me a new 82 ATC110 6 months before that. So what did we do.... traded the blue 70 in for another 110 so me and my Dad could ride around together. Wish I had that blue 70 now cuz it would be worth a grip of cash! My dad and I still joke around about it from time to time that we owned a blue 70 for about an hour! Anyway, it was still better having 2 110's at the time. There was a decent blue 70 on ebay about 2 days ago but I think it is gone. Another one on there now but needs a lot of work.

shorty....nope, I am not. When I was registering for 3ww everything I was putting in was taken. I was real surprised that someone had not picked dirtwheels with this forum being around so long. I was always a fan of the magazine growing up and had tons of them.
