    carby size gurus?

Just wondering how you can tell the size of a carby? Is it the slide diameter or the inlet throat diameter? If I post some serial numbers would anyone be able to identify mine? Just trying to figure out what I have before I order a new 38mm for my stroker motor.

    Thanks Fellas.

Its measured by the bore of the mounting flange all the way through the carb body. If you go to www.sudco.com they have some usefull information in the catolog pdf. I know some companies will actully change the serial number which makes it hard to identify. If you do have them it wouldnt hurt to know what they are, I do know what some of them mean.
