    Why would he or someone else put a stenciled 87 seat on an 85 bike, then not even mention that the seat is off an 87?

    theres still alot of debate about the existence of a 87 250r and if was not many would have made it out.so it more likely that its a 86 seat that has been recovered and stenciled.
