    " this guy ..... again !! "

yup me again hahah so here goes checked valve clearance .003 check , t mark lined up on the flywheel check clean carb , petcock , and fuel lines , new air filter greased and oiled check , small crack in intake tube check ! heres what it does , starts fine and idles great ....on choke , no choke revvs real high , low r's good but sputters at full throttle my pilot screw is 2 turns out from a light seat .
is the cracked intake the cause of the high idle ? and the reason it idles great on choke ? less air pulled when choked ? anyway , where to find an intake preferably new ? p.s. the main jet is supposed to be a 112 which is what i got i ordered a 115. where do i go from here ?

cracked intake is most likely the problem because its sucking air in and causing it to run lean

20 bucks, ebay. just checked. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

choke makes your machine run rich, air leak makes your machine run lean. put them together it runs good, thats why she runs with choke

you might want to check your pilot jet... usually if it won't idle or run without the choke on the pilot jet is plugged..

No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

I used black rtv gasket maker on my cracked boot. I'd like to replace it.

Dried gasoline can leave a very tenacious residue that will defy many attempts to just wash it way. Once a passage is plugged, its hard to get anythign to flow through it to get the cleaning started. I would make sure you can blow through each passage to ensure its not blocked. Gas can dry as hard a paint.
