Reinstating project fun ten. Been really busy with work and traveling with that. Been piling up parts here and there. Mike has been a monster help. I have been adding to his bank account lately haha. Got this PCCC front end and a Hooker Header for it. Trying to determine what Honda forks these are so that I can get some fork seals for them.

Does anyone know if these holes are supposed to be angled? The holes that the bolts go into for steering stops. The bolts that came out were stripped. I may need to weld these shut and machine new ones.

I believe the forks were from a sl or cl 350 mid 1970s model honda .
The allen head steering stops are supposed to be straight but if you dont put a washer and nut on the bottom they get bent a little . You can drill them straight and washer both sides and nut the bottom and it should be good . 83-85 200x seals work if you want to rebuild them but I dont think they were leaking .

Thanks for responding Mike. I have the bottom tree getting welded now. I'm having a boss added on the bottom so that area is thicker and supports the bolt better. The forks are leaking for sure. Those who know me know I physically go thru everything and replacing cheap items like that is easy.

Mike I think I will polish them. Just ordered dust and oil seals for them. I have a box load of stuff to send to Greg King. I received an 81 250R front hub. Got that blasted up and started designing a brake rotor for it. Going to cut that out of stainless. I need to machine an axle and spacers for that as well as come up with a bracket and brake caliper.

I need to find a 3x100 front wheel and some rear wheels.

Haha. Its not even going to look anything like it. The only thing I kept was the engine cases lol. Everything else was rotted or spent.

Got the +3 Nicholson frame all blasted up. Has to go over to a fabricator friend of mine for some steering stop work and to have the front engine mounts straightened back out. Another goody from Mike.

81 250R hub blasted up too. Got an idea for a front brake rotor. Going to draw it in CAD tonight and cut it out of stainless when my material gets here. Can't wait. Some new steering stem bearings and hub bearings.
