    Differential?

Hey on my 200es im puting rear suspension on it (well in the planning process)
As usual i have come across a problem!
Here it is, on the 200es the diff is the same size and the mounting holes are the same as on the trx 200 swingarm therefore i can bolt the 200es diffinto the swingarm but...............the 200es diff does not have the cast alloy mounts for the shock to bolt into! (that are on the trx diff not the swingarm)
So my question is, do you think i coule get somebody to weld a mount on the SWINGARM of the trx 200? Will it do the same job as it would on the cast alloy diff?

Damn I want this Suspension Up and Running!
Anyone got a 1984 trx Swinger?

    Thanks in advance

I've never seen your models rearend and swing set up but if your just mig welding some cold rolled steel mounts on a steel swingarm and keeping roughly the same angle and distances - you should be absolutely fine. Welding onto aluminum is a different story but mig set correct and ground to clean metal works fine. I've heard some people frown upon anything but a tig weld, but to me tig is for small intricate pieces that need a super weld job not a jap frame/swing which I personally have no problems welding with a MIG.
