plastic weld kit at horbor freight?

Trusted friend said he saw some fender repairs done with some sort of plastic weld fix kit from HF. and it looked Great!

Could this be true?

For the price its definatly worth trying I have some stuff I need to fix myself.

I was looking at that when I bought my welder... I guess it would fix cracks, but you'd still see the repair... fine for riders, no good for restores

It all depends on how much time you spend on preping the crack and the clean up you do when its done.

You would be surprized what some wet sanding and mop and glow will do...
