I'll never claim to do anything I can't do with confidence. Smoothing out cast port irregularities - yes....

Full on making things flow better and testing with a flow bench? Nope, don't have that - yet

Anyone get a head back yet? Bueller? Bueller?

    I'm confused.......

I have a letter in my INBOX on 6/4/10 at 11:03AM from BIGRED that said he got it and sent the money, the same day in this topic he said he didn't get it and that was about 12 hours later??... I did get the payment though, thank you! And thank for using the gift option so no fees were applied :

They say 2-3 days (shipped on Wednesday) and I got delivery tracking on both, I'll check it out.

Yes Steve. I just received it. It looks great. Anyone needed this or any similar type of work done, I highly recommend sendind it to Steve. He keeps you in the loop all the time and his fee's are very resonable. I sent this head to a machine shop at the company I work for first because I was told it would be about $10-$15 per stud. He told me three weeks later (prolly after is set on the floor the whole time) that is would be way more to do it. I said send it back. I believe if I would have had him do it that it could have turned out bad and been around $200 for the work. I contacted Steve directly after and he said "bring it on" and made me aware of about how much it could cost. He was dead on with the price and quality. Thanks DC.

    Oh yea.....................Money sent!!!!!!!

    Your welcome!!

It IS easily 200$ worth of work but doing 2 helped a bit. Fark, the 7 mile bicycle trip to the Post Office was worth 200$

I try to keep costs low in hopes of more work but IDT trikes are the way to go with machining - too many guys seems broke here.......

If I could ever find a decent frame, I would love to send you some work. I may be heading up to PA tomorrow so I'm going to see about sending a couple sets of 200x brake pedals. Things seem to be feast or famine. People have time to work on trikes if they are out of work, but don't have the funds they need, or if you are working, you just don't have to time to work on trikes or nobody is selling any parts I need to finish projects. I really wish I had a frame up to you so you could be working on that. It's kind of driving me nuts. LOL

Well VM, I guess the "good" or "bad" news (mentally differently on a daily basis....) Is that I HAVE THE TIME NOW! And I'm willing to bet that I have another year of this.

I do not have a family, just pets; So I can roll the dice. I'm not dropping from 75K a year to 18$ and hour UNLESS there is room for severe and immediate change based on my abilities.

Truthfully though, I just want some work. And I'm more than capable and extremely fair to everyone. I lost my shirt on 2 0r 3 of the "projects" that people wanted and then jumped off. I ate it all and it wasn't anything cheap. I honestly look forward to the day everything is gone and trike lovers are scratching their heads. At that point, the few guys that can machine stuff can get trhe 85$ an hour a shop charges........................................... ................sad.

We'll get you a frame soon Pat!! Gotta get a 450R master on there too at the same time.......... I have a new one to test fit, you'll have to mess with a new line and the reservoir line.

You should make a list of all the stuff I need to get besides the frame, since decent frames don't seem to exist right now. At least I can be picking up those other parts. And it's not like the house doesn't already look like a parts warehouse as it is. LOL What's funny is, I have a Tiger frame laying around, but I can't seem to find a decent 86 350x frame, now who would have ever convinced me that would happen.

^ LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! All you'd need is a new 450R master and any resi that fits well. I still have to make sure I can get it all set up dead on...........

I already cut your gussets I'm just waiting on the frame!!

It's OK, I still have to stretch that 70 and finish the rear suspension. (then the front) I had HIGH HOPES today and then looked at the lawn. 4 hours later I was one dead SOB................

Tomorrow I have work (GOOD) and I'll be beat. Next week I hope................

You know, I don't have cell phone or cable, but the 2 big luxuries I do have, the computer and a guy that cuts my grass! LOL I always hated to have to bust my butt on the 1 day off I usually get and since the company has been sticking me with lots of OT this year, well, they are paying for my lawn service. And my lawn has never looked better. I spray some grass and weed killer in the cracks of the concrete and my grass guy is really happy and he is only charging me $25 to cut the grass. I just need to get some of that weed and feed down and my lawn will really be looking sharp. The neighbors hate me, even more than usual. LOL
