what is my 3 wheeler ???

can anyone help i.d my trike , i got it from a mate who had it in his gararge for years and he does not know anything about it .
its yamaha 250cc 4 stroke semi auto with reverse black with gold wheels it has lights but no reg plate, it has a stiker that looks original that says tri-rev.
i have tried tri-rev in google but can only find info on the tri-z.
any info would be great, like where to get a manual,spares or generel spec.

I didn't know Yamaha made a ytm250dx. I knew Yamaha made a ytm225dx. A google search didn't turn up much on a ytm 250, either did a search on here. I got a classified ad for a rear axle for a ytm250, but they may have been looking for a tri-z axle. Posting some pictures would be the quickest way to tell.

its a 225 dx/r whatever special edtion.the jug should have the cc stamped in it or better yet post up the vin

Code200k is correct, it has to be a Yamaha 225 DX, or if it has reverse (lever on the left side on the top of the case) then it is a DR. There was never a 250cc 4 stroke yamaha 3 wheeler made from the factory. Good luck!

thanks for the help guys it sounds like its had non original 250 stickers put on over the years . it does have the reverse lever on like you say Rules69 and the vin number is jy3inv00560002244 engine number inv-002244
