Maier fenders - any pics of them? Your opinions of them?

I am going to be needing some fenders.

None of the ones I find for sale are 'perfect' per say, if they were, chances are they're on a mint machine and not being parted out.

I've also really been toying with the idea of an all black and white ATC 250R/cr480 engine. To save money, I will be sandblasting then using paint from a spray can (enamel paint by Rustoleum, high heat for the engine) as opposed to powdercoating.

I figure at least that way, if something get's scratched, I will have more paint that will match it perfectly.

Anyways, when it comes to fenders, I'm toying with the idea of just getting a new set from Maier. I plan on using a 350x front end (That's what I was told it was) if it fits.

    I need to know:

    1. Are all 'white' colors from Maier the same? (250R rear, 350x front, would like to match)
    2. Have any pictures of your trikes with Maier fenders?
    3. Did anyone make a matching plastic white tank for the 81/82 250R?

    Thanks

Maiers on both of these... I am happy with them. I like knowing that if I trash one out, that I can get a replacement on short notice...

No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Red Maier on my 200x and I'm really happy with it. Finish is nice, all holes lined up, nothing droopy or malformed. I'd say its a quality product.

Maiers hold the're own real well. Makes great improvement on trike. For painting I use Dupli-color engine enamel. It keeps its shine, lasts along time, & is easy to touch up. It also goes on so thick and smooth, that it's 10x's easier to paint with, will use twice as many cans of rustoleum seemed thinner & took more coats, but that's jus' what I experienced, I'm no expert. & my new maier did droop a little in one corner also, so I heated up and formed it the way I wanted.
