Are there any atv trail systems that have 100's of miles of trails like snowmobiles?

Sugar camp is within 15 miles of eagle river,rhinelander,st.germain and miniquoa 30 miles south of the u.p. Suring sounds great,are there gas stops along the way?ill do a search like you said pipeline. Thanks

The sled trails are 10-15 feet wide with nice long straights,and long sweeping curves you ride at 60 mph.ill ride the trails in the summer,only in certain parts,as most of the land is private logging companies.but i never ride any wheels on sled trails in winter,it ruins the trails and gives atvs/3 wheels a bad and damaging image.

i have had my 250sx out for 6-7 hours on the trails with my quad buddies as i cant get my three wheeler buddies here to get thier trikes dirty ! lol, i have had my 250r out on the trails for 4-5 hours no troubles, the 250r keeps the quad riders right in check !!!!! even on the big hill climbs!!!!

absolutely! in almost ALL cases, snowmobile trails are mantained and groomed at the expense of the snowmobile clubs, in the form of $$$ AND time volunteered by generous people. in NYS, its illegal to operate any wheeled vehicle on ANY designated snowmobile trail in winter season regardless of how that trial is used in summer. wheeled vehicles destroy and rut a groomed trail exept in the coldest of conditions. sleds in general make whoops that are easily smoothed out by the groomer and drag. i find that many people who want an ATV trail system to ride anre the same people riding sleds in winter, myself included. so lets stick together on this. keep the wheelers off the public sled trails in winter. it will do nothing for the wheeling image to help in developing new trails. what farmer would let a wheeler trail though his land, and trust people to stay on the trail that wont even respect the fact that its the sledders' turn in winter??
