has to be a better way!

today i decided to pull my motor from my 350x. seemed like i had to take almost evertything. clutch/throttle cable, carb, move the wiring harness, exhaust, everything. ive never pulled a motor before so this seemed like a terrible experience for me. it took about 2.5 hours total. maybe im just in experienced but what tricks are there to make pulling this engine any easier?

You have to unhook stuff but airtools make it way faster.

    Airtools make everything easier

I'd say you did pretty good for your first attempt. It takes me probably 15 minutes to get my 110 engine out, and that's 4 bolts and 3 plugs.

I throw a winch up on a beam in my barn, secure a piece of material thats almost like a hamick under the engine (NOT THE FRAME) and crank the winch and move the engine on its side or sideways whatever way itll come out. Usually takes me like 15 minutes thats include taking the carb, airbox, wiring harness and bolts off.

2.5 hours is a long time but it will go faster the more you do it, I used to be able to get my 200x motor out in about 10-15 minutes no problem. The 350x has a little more to do then the 200x but 30-45 minutes is definitely doable on one of those as well.

Putting it back in takes more time than ripping it out
Ask me how I know! If you label everything it's not bad at all though.

takes me about 30 min to take my 200x apart and thats with a oil cooler and a tight exhaust but you will get quicker with time. 2.5 hours isnt too bad for your first time.
down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

    GIT IT RAAAGGGGG !!!!
