Man i had the same problem but im a machinest so i took the cover off the side and milled it a little smaller round and made 2 brass bushing for my 85 but if you dont now a machinest i dont have a clue i never could find new seals
Yeah i don't know a machinist. I wish i did though. The last post about the jerry rig's i was sure someone could solve this issue with ease.
I can always use a teflon cutting board and cut some out with a dremmel and bandsaw. Crude, but with some fine craftsmanship i think it would work.
If i can find a side in my parts and a brake i well fix you one up if you want to just pay shipping this weekend i well look around
yeah PM me if you find something. No major rush at the moment. Still have a lot to do on this 200x this weekend.
thx
i have the same problem but im thinking of finding a brake pedal that will fit over the boss for the foot peg

I will just say, DC's fix it way better than this. But this does give you immediate satisfaction. And I can't live without hopping on my three wheeler when I feel like it. But the cheap, I wish I knew how to machine stuff fix I used was to take a piece of PVC drain, a piece with a lip on one end, its that part that goes right on below the sink. The lip goes on the engine side and prevents the pedal from rubbing. I cut a slit in it to it would fit over the kicker shaft, then dremeled out the inside so it fit snug around the kicker shaft. I cut off the letters on the outside and made it smooth. So it fit snug on the kicker shaft and would allow the pedal to turn freely. Then just drown it in wheel bearing grease. When I got my 200X for $450 the rear brake pedal was so bad when you kick started it the kicker would hit the rear brake pedal. The PVC pipe has worked for almost a year now. Its crappy but functional.
