I have been searching for a 200x lately, and stumbled across this one:

The guy said he'll take $350 cash for it. You think it's worth the 6 hour round trip drive and the cash?

Only crummy part I see in that deal is a 6 hour drive for it.
If the brakes work, doesn't smoke, and will idle I say pull the trigger.
You can find a decent set of fenders fairly cheap.

I think $350 is a fair price. Especially with title.
For the 6 hours and $100 worth of gas you'll burn, you might ask for more info or pictures:
- seat looks good - is it really?
- how's the tank? 2 I bought both had bad tanks - I got 2 off eBay for about $50 each shipped
- how are the brakes? Brakes on both mine were crap and I'll replace all 4 masters and both rear calipers before I'm done.
- how are the bearings? A full set for a 200x is roughly $100
- does the kicker work right?
Good luck - I haven't been to Indio in years.
for 350$ you cant really complain. any three wheeler is going to need some tlc. like mentioned the only down side is the drive there and back but if you want it that bad you'll sacrifice your time and fuel costs to bring it home. remember there arnt many lying around any more. get it fix it ride it if worse comes to worst im sure you can get back what ever you have to put into it
Definitely looks like it is worth $350. As far as the drive.. I've driven a lot farther for a lot less.
Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

Yep, sure do....
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

So here's the reply I got:
"...Yes, kick start works.
Engine does not smoke...might get a small puff if you gun it when it's cold but I try not to do that.
Seat is actually pretty good, a tear on each side up at the front, other than that, it looks good
I cleaned out the tank really well about 6 months ago and having been using it regularly ever since...no rust inside that I found, on the outside - I'll have to look, i think there may be a spot or two of surface rust...not sure
Brakes work great...I checked pads a few months ago and they were on the thinner side but still had some life.
Bearings seem good...I bought a set for the rear axle to have on hand, people told me they do wear out (they go with the bike)
I'll try to take more pics tomorrow...bike is far from perfect cosmetically but it runs good. Tires all hold air etc... but things like the fork boots are shot so I duct taped them up to keep dirt out etc..."
So other than some fenders, and dust boots, sounds like a great trike![]()
