i know this is going to sound stupid but where is the oil drain plug on my 1985 225dx. and dont say on the bottom of the motor cause its not there. i've checked the bottom of the case and there is not a drain plug. so someone, anyone, where is it. how do i drain my oil. i know where the oil filter is located and i know where the strainer is but there should be a drain plug somewhere. thanks Kirby

Kirby, I think you're over-thinking this. I looked in the manual, and the cover for the oil strainer IS the drain plug. But, for what it's worth, I have one of these too, and I had no idea where it was either.

cool, when i couldnt find it i was just gonna let it drain from there and the oil filter and change it that way because in my manual it says to remove the drain plug from the bottom of the case, so thats why i questioned it. thanks, now its time to change the oil tomorrow. i
