My son has a 1982 110 Honda trike, it usually run great, lately we've had a few issues with it, but could someone explain why the only why we can start it now is if I pull him behind my quad for a few minutes then it starts.

Take the carb off and clean it out- jets and everything. Should fire right up.

Throw a new spark plug in it...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Did the carb, new plug, new air filter, gave it an oil change,????
is the choke on by accident? stator maybe dirty too.
It sounds like it may have low compression if it starts when you pull it behind something else.
How do you fix low compression, believe me I learning new things every day, this is very new to me.But you guys are definitely helping me.
How do you fix low compression believe me when I say this is new too me, but you's are teaching me new things everyday, I now know how to clean a carb.
Low compression could be from a warn out head, which means it's time to rebuild.

oh gee that sounds like fun.Tks
while your in there check your conrod ID. I checked mine on my 350x and now im having to replace the conrod too.
Check your Valves...Tight valves will give you a low compression reading, Or similar symptoms, Sounds like the timing could be off a bit also...Even with tight valves and a worn out low comp motor they will run....Need a few more details, its pretty hard to Not make a 110 run....
