    custom swing arms for tri-z

does anyone do a swingarm to suit a tri-z 1985 and have the carrier set up of a honda 400ex or 450r, want to use axle, carrier, hubs, and brakes as parts are easier to come buy.

    cheers dale

For the expense of the swinger shock and the fab work needed to mount the longer shock. I feel it takes too much away from the Org. machine and not that cost effective. I wondered what parts your having trouble finding?
Calliper...I'll give ya that one. Shock? sure but a custom built shock for $850 will answer that call(you'll never look back for spending it either).
If your looking to drag/hillclimb, custom built....sure. I just can't understand the need to switch all the rest of your parts back there for easy chain adjustment. Some would argue although more difficult the Yami setup is better for keeping mud out and chain tention.

mike can set everything so all geometery is kept the same, he did with on my wild and custom 200x/300ex swingarm. i ran a longer works ultracross and it sat just like my orginal 200x.

give him a cal, you'd have to provide him somthing to go off of but the rest he can do and you can get parts for the next 20 years easy. try and get tri-z axles and sprockets and stright rear rotors in 20 years.
