This 87 200x frame come with my 350x today and i was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this crazy front tire on this thing.

Actually, it appears the curved header is gone?? Just the mid pipe/cone and silencer........ I'd still like to have it though.......

Looks like a strange flat track type front tire?? Are the fork caps aluminum or steal, that tells you if it's an 86/87 or something else.....

Looks like the caliper mounts are chopped off or on the right side which would be wrong for 1987......

The upper fork clamp looks like an 250SX (same fork diameter) but they had a single bolt. Lower one would be steel (magnet test)

it has the factory sticker on it that says its a 87 200x, but i am not sure how much of it is a 87. When i bought the 350 from the guy off of CL he through this in and said it used to be raced, but after meeting this guy and talking to him i have my doubts. He was one of those so called honda mechanics who should not be allowed around anything with wheels. He said that pipe fits the 350x.
DC if you want that pipe pay the shipping and its yours. I am gonna try to put all new on the 350 over the build.

Thanks very much, that treally helps me in this economy. I imagine 40-50$ would cover the box, USPS cost and give you something for your time. I just hope you can get some portion off of it to shorten it down some, or I'll just pay more for it. The front usually does come off though. I don't want to damage it any further because I can use oxy acetylene to get the midpipe off. Maybe after the clamp comes off, you can spread the 4 fingers apart a bit to get it off.

Box it up and let me know what I owe you for it. No hurry or need to rush you.......

I have a 350X too, so no worries. It's that "CONE" that I can't get anymore and I need one to measure and duplicate.

i should be able to get the cone off. The pipe is a supertrapp pipe. The 350 i just bought is locked up, not sure why yet. Do you know of any repair manual i can download for the 350. I have never tore into one of these yet. I do have a paypal account, but have never used it so not real sure how it works but i guess its time to learn.

Woo Hoo, Goodies. I sent you a pm with details. I think it's an 81/82 atc250r front hub set up. 3 bolt 81, 4 bolt 82. Project parts. I may have a buyer for your front end as well, so set that aside if you want to sell that. I don't believe it's right for your trike. I believe it's an 81/82 atc250r front end. I have to check a couple pics to make sure. I don't even know if it really fits right on your frame.? I'm not sure if the stem on an 86/87 200x is the same as the stem on the 81/82 atc250r? Thanks for letting me get that front hub and wheel and tire assembly. I pm'ed you my name and address for shipping purposes. Just let me know the total cost when you find out what shipping is.

those forks do not fit that frame right at all. Its some more of that fancy mechanic work i was talking about. I would sale those front forks if your buyer is interested. I got this whole deal as a bonus with the 350 i would be more than happy to sale anything on that frame.

front end is 81/82 250r. from what i know 83-87 200x front end swap out. 81-84 250r front ends swap on also.
