    Aluminum will be here Thursday and I'll make some this coming weekend. Wow, Aluminum is NOT cheap, but the best material to use. I promise to provide an excellant and functional product!!

    So, I got DEEPA's 250R airbox yesterday and made a long one from steel and one shoulder. I heated it with a heat gun and pushed it in but being so long it was a PITA.

    Jason may be right about making an inner and outer ring and Mike even said, "everytime I tighten them, they try to pop off"...... I think the constant tightening and loosening is making all these size changes.......

    I think they were meant to be 98MM ID originally and I'll make 2 and try them. If not, I'll try 97.5 or 97MM and see whats up.....

    The shoulder depth. How deep are the inner shoulders on the outer boot and filter? Do I have to leave a thin shoulder or can I make an 1/8th inch shoulder??

    The others I could only make about a 2mm shoulder.

    The depth of your air filters and air tube inlets (inner shoulders) would help me get this right for you guys, anyone with any input?? All is helpful and appreciated !!!!

    Thanks Mosh, I have made 2 for the 250R and installed them..... It will take 2 rings but I'll do a good deal, like 35$ - 40$ shipped and they take me a couple hours plus the material so it's well worth it. They REALLY support the plastic super well!!

    I just want DEEPA to bring his crap here so I can test out the outer boot and filter.

    I won't sell them till there 100%

    If you have a 200X or 250SX or I gotta see if they fit the 86/87 200X - I forget..... I've been BUSY which is good....

    But, they'll be cheaper as it's only one ring.......

    If you want an SX to test on, I can drop mine off maybe Friday or Saturday if you wanted to look at it to do the lift/extension.

    Really tired from work, would love a two or three day vacation to the cape, and would love to ride your area.

    I have an SX, 200X, 350X - I don't have an R, I have to get MEATHEAD DEEPA to get over here.........

    His hole was oblong until I took a plastic and tapped it in place; Actually, I had to hit it hard but I think I have the size correct...... I'll post pics tomorrow. Bump mke up if I forget please, I have allot going on!

    IDC about the money, I just want a fair amount for a good product! The single rin g s are actually more work for 1 ring but faster/easier/cheaper.

    I have 3 available for the 86/87 200X, 350X and 250SX.

    27$ shipped to the lower 48. It's almostan hour to make these, materials, shipping, packaging etc etc. I can't do them for any less.

    This is why I only made 9 of these, if they don't sell well I'm not sure if I'll make more.

    Turns out the 250R, I tried one long sleeve 57MM it pushes in but there are small gaps on the out sides. I almost need to make about 57.5-58MM rings for the 2 sides which means more work, more cost. 2 rings aren't etched in stone, people may only want a ring for the air filter or the intake boot, I'm not sure but I need some feedback here please. I'll try to do 50$ a pair shipped for the 250R, I just have to change some things up...... If it's too much, TELL ME NOW!!
