    Look what I got!!!!

    I just put a down payment on this 200X

    The owner wants $500 firm, but its got registration/papers, a VERY clean engine, Cobra exhaust, all brakes and electrical work, starts within a couple kicks and it's fast

    Fender is a bit abused, but I'm not worried about that.



    Going to drop the rest of the cash for it this weekend. Needs a bit of polish

    I can assure you that it isn't an 87. 83 or 84

    Not an 87 but a solid 84 or 85 200x. Nice deal! You guys out in Cali are so lucky.

    I'm pretty sure the 85 has a blue seat.

    was thinkin the same thing frame , fender ,tank shrouds , headlight shroud , all look 84ish to me, maybe its an 87 in an elaborate disguise ? either way ya cant go wrong with a 200X and that one is a nice looking machine and a pretty good deal to boot congrats holmes.

    my money is on 84 check the frame under the handle bars and let us know what ya got and ya 85 86 and 87 all have blue seats 86 and 87 have square tubing frames.

    So is the only difference between the 83 and 84 the swingarm? I've got an 83, I'm just curious..

    As far as I know, swingarm is the only diff between 83 and 84... Oh yea and the kicker gears are also different.

    Some of the eary 83's had a wide kicker pedal also and yes the internal tranny kicker assembly is different also I believe it used smaller gears.
