Started doing a rebuild got my new wiseco piston and noticed that the one that's in it has pointy skirts and the new one has beveled like skirts, my question is is the piston that's pointed the wrong piston or is it just brand design? Thanks.

Rouneded edges on a piston help stop cracking. If they where having a problem they might have changed the design some.

Just too addicted
sharp edges are bad, they shear oil off. I always polisth them with a fine file and/or sandpaper before installation.
