    fork seals

I was wondering if anyone had experience with parts unlimited fork seals. I am rebuilding some 200m forks and they need new seals. I found some on dennis kirk for 10.95 a pair and thats about the best price I have found anywhere but it doesn't come with new dust seals, like oem honda would but I think I can reuse the ones I have there not bad. I'll be running fork boots over them anyway so that will protect them alot. My question is are there fork seals any good, does anyone run them and do they last?

Yes, the parts unlimited fork seals are awesome! Thats all I use, on ALL my machines, and they all hold up great. As long as you dont buy the fancy more expensive "leak proof" or "pro moly" seals, they are junk. They say lifetime warranty, but they are JUNK. Everyone I have talked to has had problems, and so have I. They dont last nearly as long, and most of the time wont even seal right off the bat. But yeah, the regular parts unlimited seals are cheap, and just as good if not better than oem seals if you ask me. For the dust seal you could just clean it up real good, and get all the dirt and grime off, and re-use it. You never want to pull a fork apart and re-use the oil seal though - you are just asking for a leak. Good luck!

I've got 0 feedback on Parts Unlimited but it would be great if they worked a s well as OEM.

What the heck did OEM know anyhow!! Obviously it was something!!

Thanks for the help guys I think I'll go ahead and buy them off denniskirk then they have the same price as everybody on ebay. I usually try to look on ebay theres usually dealers on there selling the same product and a lot of times they offer free shipping but not for these.

Yeah I only buy from E-bay as a last resort. Usually you can get stuff like fork seals way quicker and usually the same price once you add in shipping from either a store locally, get them that day or a couple later, or from somewhere like Bike Bandit that you know they aren't some tard on E-Bay who takes forever to send stuff. Not that there aren't some great people selling stuff, just I guess I didn't buy from them.

I must be really lucky, my local Honda place has stuff for the same price as Bike Bandit before shipping.
