    Diagnosing Clutch Issues...

What are the symptoms of bad clutches? How can I tell the difference between a bad primary clutch (weights) and the secondary clutch (plates)? 1st and 2nd gear are good, but 3rd slips when shifted hard (it used to wheelie) 4th and 5th are the same.

Time for new plates... My BR was doing that, just put a new clutch and heavy springs in about 2 weeks ago, fixed it up like new...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Thanks Thorpe. Where did you get your plates/springs? I don't want to end up getting the wrong ones...

I'm wondering also. Looks like it's gonna be $100 in plates/clutches and another $100 for the centrifugal clutch. Any better prices out there?
