Exclamation 1984 Honda ATC250R Rear Axle, And Front Wheel Questions.

Well, I have a problem. I have had a 1984 Honda ATC250R for a while but recently screwed over an rear axle. (trust me you cannot fix it). I have been looking for a year now, trying to find one but CAN NOT find one. I hate walking in my garage and just looking at it sit there, its depressing. Long story short, do any of you on here know where i might get ahold of one or IF there are any other axles that will fit an 84.

    Also,
I think we all know how trikes like to pull the front wheel up when you hit the throttle hillclimbing, especially my 250R. I was wondering if any of had a way to weigh the front end down somehow so it stay down better when climbing, i go climbing with my buddies in the woods (not dunes, we live in wisconsin) and it would make me feel a whole lot better knowing that front wheel is going to stay down for me. So if anyone has an idea just let me know.

    Thanks

To weigh the front down just get a longer swinger and throw it on. That should help keep yr front wheel on the ground

Where have you been looking for an axle?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-...Q5fAccessories Just did a quick search and found this in just a few secs. Anyways, i agree with squirrel if you want to keep the front end down put a longer swingarm on it.

Well i have been searching all of the dennis kirk catalogs, online stores, bike bandit, and even ebay just like two hours ago. I would do the swingarm extension but wouldnt it be harder to manuver in the woods.

My 86 200X runs an 83/84 Durbablue axles so the 86 200X axle must fit your R. The issue is usually is the sprocket bolts and having a sprocket tooth count made for that model.........
