    350X Swingarm Question

I recently put the complete swingarm from an 86 350X including bearing carrier, axle, etc. on an 85 350X. The chain will not tighten as it did before using the same chain and maxing out the adjustment on the bearing carrier. My question is should I change the front sprocket to a 12 tooth or should I use a half link. I am not thrilled about using a half link and the speed change from a 13T to a 12T might be nice. If I change to a 12T I may have to modify the case saver although I'm not sure how much good a case saver really does. Your ideas would be helpful

the swingarm change has nothing to do with your problem.

Yeah, Sounds like your chain is stretched. I think you should have 90 links on your chain, I'll have to double check that.

    case saver

i'd highly recomend to keep the case saver in place XDAD2,,, alot of folks wished it would have been in there when it wasn't. i know it don't look like much but just might keep that chain from beating the side case someday.
