    Looking for a 3rd Gen 250r

Hello all. I have been riding atvs for a long time. When I was kid I had an 86 250r I use to ride around my grandparents farm. Now 16 years later I have some really nice and newer ATV's, but I have always wished I could have that trike back. For the past few years I have been searching for an 86 to build a mean trike outta just for fun. When I was living in alaska I had called about 15-20 bikes and either couldnt get there in time or the price was crazy high for a bike that was all but destroyed. I have been searching locally here, but I just dont see many here in ND where Im currently stationed. Any suggestions on where to look? I would even be willing to start with a frame if I could get an aftermarket one or one that isnt welded all over. Anyways....been lurking in this forum for a while, great place. Thanks Scott

Have you checked Ebay? There are frames for sale as well as full bikes. You could buy one off of Ebay and have it shipped to you. Or you could buy a frame, and go from there.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

yeah Ive been watching. But I quit ebaying a few months ago after an ID theft incident. Guess I might have to start over. But I really wanted one to go see or start with a custom frame.

Check the CL here in Minneapolis. I have seen quite a few pop up... Where are you in ND?
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!
