going to check out a 85 200X!

I never learn, but a guys got a 200x suppose to run and is complete but has the usual rotted brake res. its got some mismatched trashed rear tires on 185 rims. But ive got a set of 200x wheels and tires, brake rez. so it may be a quick fix! if I get it pics to follow. jim

I absolutely LOVE my 85 200x! Especially after I just got it all redone and Bored out. ;-) They are such a solid machine!

well turns out its a 83 (dc in the vin number) kicker doesnt go back up (it does stay up if you pull it up by hand, Broken spring?) no front brake rez, no brake pads in the rear, it runs good though. Ive got a spare set of 200x rims and tires for the back to make it look right. paid 200 for it, checked the vin number came up clean. jim

found a spare brake res for the front, I have to do some tire swapping from my 185S with 200X hubs and tires. Then on to scraping the black paint off everything, order some brake pads and tank shrouds, maybe a seat cover and call it good. jim
