    250sx making odd noise

    I have a 250 sx and when i crank it up it makes a clinking type nois coming from the kickstart or close to it does anyone know what that might be..... all inputs are helpful..........thanks

    It makes some ugly noises at start up and shutdown, but not while running... and it was this way when I bought it.

    Just to let you know, some forums prohibit crossposting like this, and users could be given a warning, or banned depending on how mods are feeling

    Also, if your exhaust has one of those pipe clamps on it that some exhausts use (supertrapp, Cobra, ect.), make sure the clamp is tight. My 200x was clanking around the same general area, then I noticed the clamp was loose. Tightened it up, and that quieted everything up (not that it's quiet anyways LOL ).
